Who are your picks for best dressed at the Oscars? The L. Avenue winners….Dakota Johnson in Gucci (OMG!), Jessica Biel in Kaufmanfranco and Emma Stone in Givenchy. As everyone weighs in, let’s take a few pointers from Hollywood’s most fashionable playbook for our own grandiose gala dresses this season.
Gold was glam last night. SO MUCH GOLD. And I loved so much of it. This gold gown has to be my favorite Oscar inspired look is feels very vintage Gucci to me. I’m loving this white and gold beaded gown in a gorgeous stripe design.
I’m loving this all white Black Halo gown. Sequins are all over the runways but these are subtle and understated, and the cut of this dress is so sophisticated, flattering and chic.
If I could only pick one dress, it’s this. This line is one of my new favorites and I think this dress is tdf. It’s simple yet unique and just flat out cool.
Another unique frock is this white + metallic cape stunner by Halston Heritage.
This dress has beautiful movement. It can be dressed up for black tie or down for cocktail if you add a blazer on top.
This black lace gown is one that will never go out of style.
If you’re pregnant OR love wearing caftans (me, me, me!) this one is incredible.
If you’re going for something short, I love this embellished dress that comes in three styles. Self-Portrait continues to woo me every season and this white dress is the most flattering I’ve tried on. SP runs so small and so tight but this shift silhouette worked well for me. I love this simple, yet stunning red dress. I just bought this dress for my upcoming trip to Vegas. And this blush beauty’s ruffle sleeves are on point.
