Of all of this fall’s trends, velvet takes first prize. I’m having a major moment with all things velvet. I’ve pulled the trigger on this velvet top, these mules and most recently this blazer. I’m fairly confident this trend is here to stay, so I’m planning on pulling out these new fall favorites again and again for years to come. A velvet piece adds to even the simplest of outfits like today’s look which ended up being a great outfit for a fall weekend in DC. I mixed all of the best fall fabrics, leather, velvet and suede–all in black to create an effortless look that can be worn day or night.
