I finally updated my Instagram account and now have Insta Stories. What are your thoughts on Insta’s snapchat knock off? So far, I’m liking it. I feel like it’s a great way to show y’all more real life–no make-up, no photo shoots, etc. It’s a great opportunity to also show y’all my daily outfits without clogging up your Insta feed with photos galore. Anyway, I’ve posted these sneakers multiple times and a lot of y’all have asked for shopping details, thus the impetus for this post.
It’s pretty clear that sneakers are the new IT shoe. They’ve been donned on runways from New York to Milan and I don’t see fashion’s sneaker moment ending anytime soon. And why should it? Comfort is king, especially when designers dished out another season of stellar styles. I saw a friend wearing these pink platform slip on sneakers by J/Slides at a birthday party and just assumed they were by Chanel or Dior. And then I magically stumbled upon them at Nordstrom to find that they are a steal. Had to share! And they come in black too.
