After taking an 8 year fashion sabbatical to focus on family, Kate Spade {this name surely rings a bell!} and husband Andy, are back with the launch of Frances Valentine. Who is Frances Valentine? If I had to describe her in a sentence, she’s modern, and sophisticatedly edgy with bold colors and bright patterns. I’m loving what I’ve seen so far and have to say I’m surprised that the line is only shoes and bags {for now}. Competition is fierce in the accessories world, so I actually applaud the Spade’s for walking before they run. Although, based upon what I’m seeing I think they’ll be in full sprint in no time.
The basket bag is summertime perfection. It’s actually big enough to hold a few picnic essentials for a day-date with your main squeeze. And this kitten heel is like nothing I’ve seen in shoes this season. Or ever before. Fashion and art come together beautifully with this well designed, one-of-a-kind looking shoe.
