Yeah, yeah, yeah we’re all well aware that fringe is still all the rage. I’ve actually been kind of fringed out until I found this dress that made me stop dead in my shopping tracks. The print on this Tamara Mellon dress immediately caught my eye. When I tried it on it was all about the cut. My body type is straight up boy shape, aka no hips, no tush, a mommy middle and skinny arms and legs. Like any body type out there, you gotta work with the good and hide the rest. You know that feeling when you try something on and your confidence goes up a few notches, that’s exactly my jam in this gem. Did I mention it’s really fun to twirl in too?!
If you’re confused by today’s photos, I don’t blame you. At first glance it would appear that the backdrop/other people walking the streets screams February in NYC. In an attempt to blend in with the locals {HA, no chance in this getup!} I paired my new NYFW dress with a moto and dark wintery accessories. Cha-ching.
