I’ve been frantically decking my halls in time for a few hosting festivities coming up this weekend. I found myself kind of in a Scrooge mood earlier this week feeling a bit overwhelmed by the long to do list that is pretty standard in December. A friend of mine decorates her house before Thanksgiving (gasp!) and I could never wrap my head around it. But after a week of that drowning feeling (school obligations, Christmas events, work obligations on top of decorating, I may consider knocking it out early next year too. It would certainly alleviate a lot of unnecessary stress and leave time to enjoy the season, don’t you think?
I will say, I’m pretty excited about how the house is looking at Christmastime, including a tablescape that I’ll share with y’all next week. I posted a few behind the scenes shots of it today on Insta Stories, and had a lot of questions on my tartan tablecloth and napkins. The print is SO good! So today, I’m matching my outfit to the tablecloth with this festive tartan dress. It’s so festive and a great price too. Would be cute for a daytime Christmas lunch or even dressed up for an evening occasion with heels and statement earrings! This is a dress you’ll look forward to wearing every holiday season!
