A few weeks back I snagged this Cinq a Sept blazer at a fashion presentation that the brand held in conjunction with A Couture Cause, the fashion charity event I started here in Houston. I had a major fan girl moment when I got to meet Cinq a Sept’s renowned designer, Jane Siskin. Jane got her start at 7 for All Mankind and then Elizabeth & James (not a bad resume!) before starting her own line.

Did you know Cinq a Sept is French for “five to seven,” and embodies the time in-between late afternoon and early evening, “When streets are awash in the warm glow of the vanishing sun and anything is possible.” Doesn’t that just make you want to hop on the next red eye to Paris?! Well, Jane was in France dining at a cafe during happy hour, the hour of the day that inspired the name, and Cinq a Sept was born. This favorite brand is as magical and as beautiful as it’s Parisian beginning….

In the spirit of haute couture, we’ve rounded up some statement blazers for you giuys today. Just add a tee and your favorite Levi’s and you’re good to go!
