Guys, I honestly can’t believe the title of this blog post. There’s no outfit today, although I’d love nothing more than to turn off the television and pour myself into work right now. It’s so much worse here than I could have ever imagined. I mean just yesterday I was groaning about the next four days of being stuck inside. And now today I’m praying we get to be in a home without flood water.
Friends homes are flooded, streets just blocks from our home have major water. Right now please pray that this rain slows down so our city can have some reprieve to drain and dry out a little. I’m currently living in fear of nightfall. Things always just seem so much scarier at nighttime and we know we’re getting more rain this evening. We moved across the neighborhood to stay with family tonight because they have a two story house. It’s the strangest feeling leaving your house not knowing what you’ll return to find. I know it sounds dramatic, but it’s scary stuff. So today, I just ask for some prayers or my city and all of South Texas for that matter. Thanks y’all!
