What’s on tap this weekend y’all? Did you see in yesterday’s post that our sweet “Friday 5″ contributor Mollie got engaged?! That makes 2 people close to me who are wedding planning! My best friend also got engaged I’ve got a good excuse to pick up a copy Martha Stewart Weddings. I wish I could do the whole wedding planning year over again–what an exciting chapter in life!
Today’s look has been on repeat all summer long. A few months ago I ordered a bunch of denim shorts to try on. Since last summer I was rocking maternity shorts, it was time to update the wardrobe. I only kept this pair and have worn them non-stop. I finally stained them somehow and even the dry cleaner had no luck getting the stain out so I actually ordered a second pair because I love them that much. In Houston we’ve still got a few more solid months of shorts and I know these will be favorites again next year too.
I’ve had this super cute woven straw clutch for two years now and have packed it for every single summer trip. It’s easy to pack and goes with everything! And this soft button down has been a go-to in airports with denim and sneakers. It’s one of the only long sleeve pieces that works even when it’s super hot outside. A great wardrobe staple!
