I’m a lover of layers and found the perfect vest in springy pastel yellow at Nordstrom last week. I splurged on a similar piece a few years ago and now wear it non-stop every fall and winter. Then I start to reach for it during warmer weather months but it’s wool so that’s out. I’m pretty sure this Phillip Lim piece is the perfect outer layer to sub in for spring and summer. My new vest is super versatile and can easily be dressed up or down. It’s such a cool outer layer, I’d throw it on most often with denim and a casual tee. This tee’s feminine scalloping and ruffles also works really well the more structured, contemporary outer vest.

I found this striped sweater which is super soft and the perfect weight for warmer temperatures. And I’m beyond excited to be back in culottes again this spring. I had to stick to skinny maternity pants last year at this time, so it was fun to find a gorgeous new white culotte from Nordstrom. This pant is so chic and comes with a matching jacket too.
