blue velvet 2 ways

December 8, 2016

If you can’t tell I’m having a moment with velvet (velvet trend report here). This classic sheath number has definitely stepped up it’s game.  I love the midi length and the cut out sides to give it a lightly edgier look.  This blue velvet beauty will be making an appearance at some holiday soirees too, thanks to Spanks. Shhh. Don’t tell…different people, so no one will know it was on repeat to a few or more times. wink.  It’s no secret I collect blazers like it’s my job.  I gravitate towards them at every chance as they are the staple perfect piece to dress up or down. Take this Rebecca Taylor blue velvet printed blazer. I love it with this velvet dress and will equally love paired with jeans (on sale), sneakers or these splurge over the knee boots or these steal boots and this blouse or this one. The options are endless with this fab blue velvet piece.

Adjusting to life with three has been interesting to say the least. My little guy, baby Jack, joined me for my shoot. I’m pretty sure the two of us will be attached at the hip for this next year and I’m going to soak in every minute of it. Motherhood is amazing, exhausting, stressful at times, and the greatest gift God has given me to date. Anyway, happy holiday weekend, guys! I hope yours is spent with lots of fun, family time with your favorite gifts from God.
