To say I’ve had New York Fashion Week FOMO is an understatement. M-FOMO. Major. I know I wouldn’t have had the energy to keep up with all that is fashion week though. The shows, outfit shoots, meetings, just navigating all over the City is exhausting for a non-prego. Let alone someone carrying around a baby and an extra 30 pounds. Social media is such a blessing and a curse. It’s been fun living vicariously though my blogger friends’ Instagram posts, but a bummer at times too.
The street style this NYFW has been so rad. My favorite bloggers to watch were So Heather, Where Wear Well and The Miller Affect. A plus, ladies!
For the most part, bloggers and fashion insiders were a lot more low key than I’ve seen in past years. Of course, there were still plenty of statement bags and accessories and bold pops of color. But mixed in with lower key pieces like denim shorts, sneakers and tee shirts.
So today we pulled some of our favorite street style looks that we’d like to replicate in real life. And the best news is you too, can shop the details below.
People are finally getting smart this season and flats are the new 4 inchers this NYFW. Of all of the fashion week’s to miss! Lets just say it was all heels all day last February. In subzero weather, of course. Flats on trend is a huge victory for busy ladies bopping around town. Gucci is is having more than a moment right now and these flats were the perfect understated statement shoe. A dressed up skirt is the perfect match for a more laid back boyfriend blazer and mules with the perfect pop of yellow.

If we’re doling out uniforms for NYFW this outfit is it. Cutoff shorts, billowy dressed-up blouse and small chunky heels. I LOVE it! This was my favorite look from NYFW and I plan to rock this on the reg for quite some time now.
Denim Shorts | White mules or you can rock Superstar kicks| Printed Top | Scarf | Pouch Bag
Pinstripes are back in a big way. And by big I mean oversized coats, pants and tops. This menswear inspired look is more masculine than I tend to go, but I’ll give this getup a whirl once I have a waistline again. Paperbag waists were all over the runways for spring, so I’ve got a little bit of time.
