It’s about that time to talk summer trends, guys. What do you say we take a little dive into the summer trend waters? Today’s look from Nordstrom touches on a few that I’m seeing everywhere and would love to incorporate into the summer wardrobe. Blush tones, Bermuda shorts, artful earrings, elevated track pants and the mini shopper bag. The blush movement is spilling over from winter and spring and I’m not complaining one bit. This Tibi camisole has summer written all over it by way of bright multi-colored beach balls. The print isn’t overwhelming but its bright colors allow for unlimited options when it comes to how to wear this top and what to pair it with. I’m doing a front tuck with my flowy wide leg track pants but also love this pretty silky gem with white skinny jeans and sandals. If we’re going a little more casual, I’m all about bermuda shorts which are also very in for summer.
I’ve worn this outfit with both wedge espadrilles (when chasing the littles around all day) and threw on these fun caged heels for a night out. Let me tell you how surprisingly comfortable these shoes are. They’re the perfect neutral sandal to go with all of your summer outfits. When it comes to shoes, there’s really nothing more flattering than neutral heels because they give us ladies a few extra inches of leg. As for accessories, I’m playing on one of the bright beach ball colors with bright red bag + earrings that I found at Nordstrom. Both accessories are budget friendly and perfect seasonal additions to the wardrobe. I really love the unexpected bold pop of color on a light blush top. I’m also benching my bucket bag and subbing in the mini-shopper this summer. It’s sleek and can be worn crossbody too. And at $58, you can totally test out the mini-shopper waters without feeling any pangs of guilt over a new bag purchase. Plus that leaves more for the margarita budget. Happy summer, y’all!
