After doing NYFW a few times now I’ve come to the realization that really anything goes when it comes to dressing for the shows. This time last year I packed mostly dresses and skirts. What on earth was I thinking?! I was insanely unprepared for the record setting low temps in NYC. This year I still packed a few statement dresses but ended up wearing denim and layers to the majority of the shows. Let’s not kid ourselves even today’s outfit wasn’t warm enough for the polar vortex. Baby steps. I jazzed up my flares with a vintage Chanel necklace, a super 70’s suede jacket and a bold statement clutch. {read here about my color crush handbags for spring}. This is a great spring transition outfit and I’ll throw on some mules when it warms up a little bit more.
