Brooklyn chic

November 2, 2015

A few amazing bloggers, (check them out here and here) and I took a break from the NYFW madness for a Brooklyn boondoggle. What brings us to Brooklyn you might ask? The food? Nope. The hipster vibe? Nah. The cool music scene? Nada. What’s left then??

The coolest, most artistic walls of course. Because it’s totally normal to seek out random walls underneath bridges in Brooklyn. Bloggers are strange cats. And I can honestly say, this quiet Sunday trip to Brooklyn was one of the highlights of my time at fashion week. Next trip to NYC, I really do want to carve out more time for the Brooklyn scene though….if Miranda Hobbs is down with it than it’s obviously legit. Sorry guys, I couldn’t help but insert a Sex and the City reference.

So I was channeling my inner mod with this little red dress by one of my new favorite lines, The Kooples. I like it’s versatility. It’s cute with a button down or turtleneck underneath for a daytime look but can be dressed up for upcoming holiday parties too. Smooches from Brooklyn!
