NYFW, what a whirlwind. I’m too exhausted to recap today but promise to dish more later this week. Plus the kiddos will be up from their naps soon (thank you Lord for blessing me with 2 hour nappers) and I’m going to enjoy some QT until I break out the computer again post bedtime stories.
It’s only fitting that I rock a dress by my new friend (and talented fashion designer) Hunter Bell for my first NYFW outfit post. I’ve twirled around in lots of her pieces on L. Avenue. Don’t tell, but I’ve also had a girl crush on her since we first met last year. She’s gorgeous, witty, and radiates major posi vibes to everyone around her. Not to mention she’s a rock star fashion designer with a cult following. If you’re not on the bandwagon, hope on, her designs won’t disappoint. And guess what, she just moved to Houston and I’m thrilled to be collaborating with her on a few projects this fall. Stay tuned.
This fab fit and flare frock is one of my favorites from her current collection. I love the print and color combo. This dress is feminine with a high neckline and pleated skirt but edgy with the back cutout detail. A great fall transition piece that I’ll rock it with a leather moto jacket and over the knee boots. And the bag options you could pair with this dress are endless. I love it with a red ostrich embossed clutch (texture for days!), a leopard print bag (this bag goes with everything in your closet!) or this vintage goody that I scored here (mini but mighty!).
