Do you remember your first twirling dress? You know, the dress that made you want to practice your most graceful spastic spins everywhere you’d wear it. I can still remember the yellow pretty I wore for Easter when I was 6 or 7. I twirled for a week straight in that dress. When I tried on this skirt, I was instantly shuttled back to those twirling days of my childhood. I love everything about this skirt…most importantly the way I felt wearing it. The penguin print is whimsical, but not childish. And I’m obsessed with the black/white/blue color combo—these 3 are staples in my fall wardrobe. I think every high waisted skirt is waiting for the right crop top these days. And the boxy shape of this one is way more flattering/comfy than tucking something in. This may be my new go-to party skirt, but if worn with a black blazer and pumps it’s totally work appropriate. And let’s be honest, the penguins on your skirt are certain to be a great conversation ice breaker. Pun intended.

P.S. This song makes me wanna dance like a penguin…
P.P.S Did you know penguins are 1 of only 11 animals who mate for life?!
